Support For Families

We provide opportunities for young people of all ages from 0-18 years , to get out and enjoy activities together supported by our friendly volunteer team.  Children can join us at any age, and the majority continue with us until reaching adulthood.

Parents and Carers also benefit from time out, support through regular connection with team, advocacy for emerging needs and the opportunity to join us on special family events such as an annual beach trip and Christmas party.

“It has helped me and my child, there are times, when I can't get up from bed but the volunteers did a fantastic job, taking them while I couldn't, I want to say thank to all volunteers.”  Parent

" I would like to THANK YOU and the TEAM for the support you provide for my girls.  I really appreciate you ALL for the time you take out to spend time with us.  The girls have had great times and they always tell me lots of amazing stories.  From the bottom of our hearts we say THANK YOU SO MUCH."  Parent

How to join our family support

You can phone us directly on 020 7473 5050 or use get in touch button below and we will call you back. If you prefer a professional can make a referral on your behalf. Following this we will arrange a time to come and meet you in your family home, or a place you feel comfortable.  This will provide an opportunity to get to know each other, learn about your family circumstances and support needs and what we can offer, along with answering any questions or concerns you may have and get you signed up.

All our activities are free and confidential, and provided by trained volunteers who have gone through a thorough application process, including enhanced DBS. We can accompany children from home to make support accessible.

To be part of our programme, one member of the family has to be HIV+ and there has to be one member of the family who is under 18 years.  Services are available to anyone living within an East London Borough.
